This fourth of July was extra special to our family. A typical American fourth of July involves being outside in the hot sun, playing in the pool, a huge cookout, lots of family and friends and then the perfect ending to the day---FIREWORKS! Well here is what it looked like in between the NONSTOP cloudy, grey rainy day at our house. The cookout was very small and Rob had to grill in rain gear. The rain was so strong that after we drove to our favorite firework watching spot it was canceled.
Not exactly the perfect day and weather we have grown to expect....but our day was great! Emma is home and an american citizen. 
What more could we ask for?!

We had some strange dinner guests to help us celebrate! 
We are at the fireworks...that didn't happen. We are going to try again tonight! Let's hope there is NO rain and we get to see them this time! 
This is my favorite of the the boys! They wanted to stand out the sun roof. I am going to have my hands full with them!
We have more plans this weekend so I am sure I will be posting more later!

who were those masked boys!!! They nearly scared the fireworks out of me!! Adorable children Amiers. I love the little outfit Emma had on and her accessory of diet coke is priceless!!!
